    Default Volhynian Czechs

What can you guys tell me about Volhynian Czechs? My maternal great grandmother was a Volhynian Czech but it's really difficult to find information online about this sub-group.
From what I know, "Volhynian Czech" was a catch-all term used for Slavic (and possibly Hungarian and German?) speakers who migrated from the Austro-Hungarian Empire to Volhynia in the late 19th/early 20th century.
I didn't get Czechia as a region on 23andme but I did get Hungary as a region and my great grandmother's surname looks more Hungarian than it does Czech imo. Is it possible that this ancestor was Slovak or something of the sort? Thanks

There are some sources about Volhynian Czechs at internet, but mostly in Czech - look for term "Volyňští Češi".
I have some friends who are descendents of Czechs repatriated from Volhynia after 1945.
There is also article at Polish wikipedia
