Maybe little would have changed if the Kingdom of Serbia had rejected that ultimatum, I repeat very little. Austro-Hungary planned to declare war on the Kingdom of Serbia, it did everything in its power to get a reason. That ultimatum was one of the reasons. Had it accepted the ultimatum, the Kingdom of Serbia would have lost its pride and honor. That ultimatum and all of Austro-Hungarian attempts for disrupting Serbian honor and love for the fatherland was not enough.
