Default What is Turkey's endgame in Syria?

BAKU - War is the continuation of politics by other means, and nowhere is this more evident than in Turkey’s involvement in the Syrian battlespace. Although policymakers in Ankara have genuine interests in Syria and see the ongoing fight as an exercise of geopolitics - the stakes are even higher for the Turkish President. For Erdogan, Syria is also about political survival as it defines his endgame.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

There is only American and Russian endgame in Syria. Turkey is regional power and such status doesn't qualify you to fight super-powers over world natural resources.

Recently there have been sparks between Russian and American forces in Syria.

Turkey apparently wants to protect it's border only, but also is looking the way to snatch something from Syria either resources or anything, but is too afraid to act because already 2 big giants are fighting in it.
