Nice work. Did you take in account samples of TA Greeks we have (those that hail from same region)? In Universe' K13 modeling thread are 20-30 of them I think.

Creoda's PCA of Greek TA members (mainlanders mostly) says the same- huge overlap with Albanians and limited to none with Bulgaro-Macedonians.

yes. we used only 6 of them which are purely from one region.

The lone Ionian Islands sample is pretty interesting; I've always wanted to see results from there, too bad there was only one.

I only used reference populations that were confirmed/plausible in my ancestry. Fit seems nice!

Father's side: Samos (N. Aegean) + Roma/S.Asian
Mother's side: Elis (W.Peloponnese) + Arkadia (C.Peloponnese) + Arvanite + Turk/N. Greek

*My mother's ancestry is harder to discern. She has high Red_Sea component and I have no idea why. Calcs always want to include something along the lines of Algerian_Jewish or even distant Egyptian.

Kinda hard to make such a conclusion based on one sample, but it is interesting nevertheless that it's more "western" shifted than the other Greek samples.

Ionian Islands is bar far the most Italian like region of Greece if all aspects are considered including culture

90% of Macedonian k13 results are not included here and they are already posted on thread about Macedonian results , i understood already that here everyone shows results how they want and make a selection how they will present these pca's,i recommended to people who doing this things to contact me ,i can give them atleast 100 k13 coordinates of Macedonians with region name, even these references on k13 are wrong for Macedonians and some are writen wrongly(like ethnicity or region, like Aspar = Vlach Highlander North Macedonia,or i think about Macedonian_East is Macedonian from Skopje),all looks like one big joke.
