Jews as the majority in what is today Israel seems to come from Europe. But Turkey also has a lot of "European" genes. Culturally Israel seems more "European".

American Jews tend to be European passing/looking(relatively speaking) but in my experience the slight majority of Israelis that I've seen here in LA look Levantine and sometimes even Bedouin or North African. Looks that are rare to non-existent in Turks.

I'm in many Israel groups and there are really many blacks and Arab or Egypt and Palestinian and Yemen looking jews also many mixes like half Ashkenazi half Mizrahi

I believe Israel is a West Asian melting pot. I have seen mulattoes (who are of Ethiopian descent) and southern shifted Arabs in his videos as well (who speak Hebrew and are Jewish btw). Which was so surprising to me, because I have always thought Israel had the whitest people in West Asia, thanks to my idea of Ashkenazi Jews. Turned out I was wrong.
Turkey certainly doesn't have south shifted Arabs and blacks in such amounts. Or at least, ethnic Turks don't look like that. But "Israeli" has now become more of a nationality than an ethnicity, just like Brazilian and Mexican. So if we want to be specific with Israelis, we should specify ethno-religious terms like Mizrahi and Sephardi, or just ethnic groups living in Israeli like Arab Israeli, Ethiopian Israeli, Assyrian Israeli, Armenian Israeli, etc.
