That's all unfamiliar for Romania too except the Gypsy part (blood feuds are common in the Gypsy community, they do not concern Romanians) and the sunflower hulls (sometimes low-class people crack sunflower seeds in public and then leave the mess behind, but they'd face huge fines over littering so you see this less and less).
