Why are some Euro ethnicities relatively untalked about here?

I noticed despite the decent number of Russians here and the relevance of Russia to Europe they are relatively under discussed here. Same for Belarus. And while people love talking about Balkans one thing I don’t see much about is Slovenia. Icelanders and Lithuanians also not in many people’s minds. All seems pretty strange to me.

I find Russians get mentioned a bit but agree has been lot on Balkans.

I wouldnt mind seeing more dna information and studies on Czechs/Czech republic, also Maltese/Malta, Latvians/Latvia, Corsicans/Corsica I feel these have been quite under represented here.
