The "Black" stereotype of you the catrachos, comes from the soccer, many players are afro-descendants, the same happens with Ecuador.
And probably because apart of Islas de la Bahia where most people are white anglo-descendants, in the other most turistic areas, I mean the Caribbean Coast there are an interesting number of garifunas and creoles.
But just considering the whole population, african-descendants are not more than the 2% of the population...

But some people who doesn't know how are the central-american countries think that Hn and Ni are practically equal in that sense but it's not.
Indeed I think that in Honduras the harnizos should be the most numerous group of the population, if not the bulk of the population, at least the bigger minority of it.
