Tyrone Woodley praises BLM pre-fight, gets ass beat by Covington who dedicates victory to America

lol everyone keeps saying this and it's so untrue. This is literally how all Woodley fights look, especially the Thompson fights(which I thought either Thompson won or were draws). He throws like 5 strikes per round, either lands the hail mary KO or knockdowns to steal the round with one strike or he loses. No deterioration, this is the exact same Woodley that got dominated by Rory Macdonald in 2014.

Colby still likely has nothing for Usman unfortunately, I can see him beating almost everyone else though.

I see Masvidal and Diaz able to beat Cloby, but it would be close fights.

Dude this is his 3rd loss in a row before these losses he had 6 straight wins and 1 draw ...doesnt that show something.

I agree Wonderboy fights were close ,Till was different.

He hardly looked offensive in this fight at all, his attitude to win just didnt seem to be there.

In standup Masvidal quite possibly , risk for GM is Colby's wrestling ...Ive seen old footage of them sparing with lot of wrestling and Colby was eating George in the wrestling.

Old Diaz maybe yes but Nate has not looked good in his last few fights ...I dont thinkhe has performed like in his prime last few times.

Woodly is gatekeeper at this moment. He should retire. Btw, I expected Colby's victory, if he was a bit smarter (and with better cadio) he would beat Kamaru Usman, but he will get title shot next year, most likely.

Ps. Next week will be interesting, Adesanya vs Costa for middleweight belt and Reyes vs Blachowicz for light heavyweight belt.

I dont think it was Cardio issue Kumaru clipped him good and broke his jaw he was kncoked down too and could see the broken jaw was affecting him . true that fight was stopped by ref C.C said he wanted to continue but I doubt he would have won if he did because only would taken couple more punchees to his jaw he would been done.

Before that happen the fight was really close.

For the record Im not particuliarly C.C fanboy for similiar reasons Teutone already mentioned.

But the guy is definitly a very good fighter no question.

In 4th and 5th round his defence was plain shit. He couldn't breath propertly. He lost exactly in the same way as Junior Dos Santos against Cain Velasquez in their third fight. Cardio is extremely important, especially in "championship rounds" (4th and 5th). Of course, cardio wasn't only problem but important reason why he lost.
I'm also not fan of him but he has potential to beat Usman in future.

He was fighting for a little bit with broken jaw it was hindering him and maybe affected his breathing maybe,
Cardio is really important if somebody wants to be a fighter , but I think the fight was close probably right untill he got jaw smashed and not long after that knocked down .

ofc he has potential to beat Usman.

C.C is very determined and skilled fighter uses pressure really well, very fit and probably quite durable.
To beat him you really have to hurt him because not easy to wear him out imo.

I would like to see C.C vs a really unconventional skilled fighter like a Tony Ferguson if they could get it at doable weight.
