Default North Eastern Turk DNA Tribes Ancestral fit

This seems more like it. dnatribes.jpg The gedmatch results of North Eastern Turks I saw here had Armenians as their first match which didn't make much sense.

Armenians never lived in North Eastern Turkey and the region was inhabited by Colchian tribes throughout history. No need to mention the fact that North Eastern Turks are way lighter than Armenians.

What would you say about how the fact that North Easterners are the lightest ones in Turkey while Armenians are known to be very dark? Something just doesn't add up.

Well, phenotype does not equal genotype. I guess people from that region simply had more light alleles.

Phenotype and genotype are not the same things. Trabzon folks( Trabzon turks, pontic greeks, hemsheni, laz) cluster together before armenians, they are not armenians but very close.

I know they're not the same thing but they tell something. A proto Georgian origin people (Colchian) that doesn't resemble Armenians being closer to Armenians genetically than to Georgians just seems very strange to me.

Welll. DNA tribe is accurate at all. At least, my TOP 10 was kind of joke.

Well phenotype is genotype. Genes control all phenotype attributes. This genotype not equalling phenotype BS was started by people whose shitty calculators were not able to detect admixtures that caused the phenotype in the individual.

Populations are not as homogeneous as what those idiots will have you believe. Clustering programs are horrible in divulging older or minor admixtures

Yes but it is not an exact science that way. For example Blonde West Asians are no more European than normal ones. Certain genes are simply expressed more or less which is probably the reason that Trabzon people are lighter on average. Could also be because of climate.
