Never heard of that stereotype. I am tall but probably because of my father, he is tall. My mother is from Trabzon and her side is not that tall. They are lighter than my father's side even tho according to stereotypes my father should be much lighter because he is Circassian.

Well I didn't say that they were Armenians, only that they were close to them. Laz people which like you said are Colchis descendants are close to Armenians especially Hemshins.

Yes, I understand you. I just assumed that Laz are close to Armenians, in these tests, probably due to the fact that Laz are more mixed with Armenians, because of family marriages. Since other descendants of the Kolkhs, Mingrelians and Svans are not as close to the Armenians as the Laz. But this is just my guess. I could be wrong.

Population of North Eastern Turkey, i mean Black sea side, is light by any standards. Blondinism among them is almost on the Caucasus level.
I traveled there 2 weeks ago, you see blond or red hair people here and there. Actually this region has the lightest population in Turkey.
