    Default Pope Francis against Meritocracy?

Pope Francis winked at Alberto Fernández on social media

The President spoke this week of the importance of ending "meritorcracy" in our society. The Pope echoed a quote from the Bible.
“Those who reasons with human logic, that of merits acquired with one's own ability, goes from being the first to being the last. On the other hand, whoever humbly entrusts himself to the mercy of the Father, goes from last to first (cf. Mt 20, 1-16) ”. Pope Francis tweeted in clear allusion to the much mentioned "meritocracy."

A few days ago only the Argentine President Alberto Fernández had declared on this issue: “What makes us evolve or grow is not true that it is the merit, as we have been led to believe in recent years. The dumbest of the rich has a better chance than the smartest of the poor. As long as that does not happen, we cannot be calm with our conscience ”.

“That unequal treatment puts us in a bad place as a society. It is not a good system. The best societies are those that, precisely, give everyone the opportunity to develop ”.

“The only thing else I should wish for is that every Argentine can be born, grow up, study, work, build a family, study at a local university, live happily and die happily in the province where they were born. That should be a goal of each one of us. The day that happens, Argentina will have given everyone equal opportunities, ”Alberto had stated.

It is not the first time that the Pope shows a political closeness with the Government of Alberto. In fact, within the framework of the announcement of the debt restructuring under foreign legislation, the President highlighted the figure of the Pope during the negotiation process.

What a socialist goof, John Paul II. would be ashamed.

"What makes us evolve or grow is not true that it is the merit, as we have been led to believe in recent years. The dumbest of the rich has a better chance than the smartest of the poor. As long as that does not happen, we cannot be calm with our conscience ”.

This socialist fairytale makes me cringe, the status and wealth of members in most societies correlates with their intelligence and abilities. The only functions where this doesnt apply are artists, politicans and clerics as we see with those 2 nutjobs and the whole entertainment industry.
There is a vague equality of opportunity in most societies, those guys aim for equality of outcome.
