The only rats here are those who write outright lies. The very title of your thread is such a lie. HUGE at that. Serbia has never had an empire. Serbia had a kingdom - Dusan's kingdom. Serbian kingdom or Српско царство или Srpsko carstvo and lasted only 25 years.
...Even if a man lives well, he dies and another one comes into existence. Let the one who comes later upon seeing this inscription remember the one who had made it. And the name is Omurtag, Kanasubigi.

    Serbs and Greeks

Dusan's proclamation and coronation as emperor also required a change in the title of ruler. In the previous ruling title of Nemanjic, the most important place belonged to territorial determinants, while in the title of Tsar Dušan, the greatest emphasis was placed on national determinants. In Serbian documents, he signed himself as "the Emperor of Serbs and Greeks", while in Greek documents he signed himself as "the Emperor of Serbia and Romania", where Serbia represented Serbian and Romania Greek lands. In Greek documents, Dusan could not sign himself as the Emperor of Romeo (Greece) (Romans - Byzantium was considered the heir of the Roman Empire and called its citizens Romans), since that right had exclusively the Byzantine emperor. Dusan's signature on the documents is similar to the Byzantine signature, with the novelty that the bearers of the imperial legitimacy are Serbs and Greeks. With the introduction of the Serbian name in the imperial title, it represents the greatest political success that the Serbian people achieved in the Middle Ages. The proclamation of the empire was accompanied by the awarding of the highest titles to the Serbian aristocracy, which existed in Serbia before, but could only be given by the Byzantine rulers. He awarded his closest relatives with the highest Byzantine titles: despot, sevastokrator and caesar. Holders of these high Byzantine titles were appointed as regional deputies exclusively in the Greek part of the empire, while in the Serbian part of the empire the nobles held titles that existed even before the proclamation of the empire.

    Life of the population

The houses were built of wood and were partially buried in the ground. The center of the house was occupied by a fireplace, around which the whole family gathered. A lirewood was used to light the houses, while wax candles were used only in the Castles for lighting, and in the churches during the rites. Clothes are very rarely bought, they are mostly made in households, from wool or linen. It was similar with the dishes, which were made of wood, baked clay, but rarely of metal. Farmers used various vegetables for food, primarily: lentils, beans, peas, cabbage, garlic and onions, as well as small amounts of fresh and dried fruit. Farmers also produced wine in the vineyards. In addition to wine, beer and mead were also produced. For grinding cereals, hand grinders were used, as well as mills. In the large farms, large quantities of grain were stored in special warehouses that were buried in the ground and walled up. Although all the conditions for agricultural production existed, during natural disasters or wars, the poor population often died of starvation, because the food that was brought was very expensive. During the famine years, farmers often sold their land to buy food for themselves.

There were many more Serbian empires prior to Dusan.

Before Dusan, Serbia had only a Српска кнежевина/Serbian principality and Grand Zupans / Avar title by origin), and only since the end of the 12th century has there been a first medieval Serbian state, but even it is not known as Serbian, but as Raska. The founder of this country is Stefan Nemanja. Raska received international recognition as an independent state with the status of a kingdom. In 1346, Stefan Dusan, like Bulgaria, proclaimed his kingdom on the basis of Raska - Српско царство или Srpsko carstvo/the Serbian Kingdom .
Nothing personal. Just use the terms more accurately for the relevant historical periods when talking about history. What is desired is not always reality, even if you strongly desire it.

LMAO, you choose Wacky German and Vatican fables, these fables were forced onto Serbs during the 19th century. However, prior to the 17th century, history spoke of SERBS as the natives of Helm.

Do your research on Emperor Krepimir Ostrivojevic 815-840. Then l will mention more names prior to him. In Ostrivojevic’s empire most of your khanate was his.

And because you accuse me of using "German and Vatican fables," I will now use a Serbian chronicle known as the "Chronicle of the Serbian Kings." ., pp. 144-160 on the Serbian A. Vukomanović. He used 4 manuscripts, and their editions differ. The first of them is from the funds of the Rumyantsev Museum, but in storage at the University of Dorpat. The other manuscript is from the Imperial Library of Vienna and is in a collection containing the Nomocanon. This edition covers the events up to 1469. The other two manuscripts were found in the Hilendar Monastery and the village of Gebarevo, Plovdiv region. The Hilendar manuscript, written in a semi-constitutional letter, is in a collection of apocryphal works and covers the events from the creation of the world to 1482. The main manuscript on which the chronicle was published is Gabarev's. The collection contains texts with different content, written in italics. The manuscript, according to which the edition in "Glasnika" is a small collection, in which there are prayers from Trebnika and texts with historical content - "Word for Prince Lazar" and "Word for Archbishop Macarius". The chronicle and the words were transcribed by Vukomanovic.

In 6240 [733] Rome ceded Orthodoxy to other Western countries.

In 6360 [852] our letters were written by Cyril the Philosopher, the teacher of the Bulgarian language - under Tsar Michael and his mother Theodora, who confirmed the worship of the holy icons.

In 6647 [1139] Neman called himself Gospodin/lord of the Serbs and reigned for 42 years.

The great zupan of a pious tribe and an ancient root. Great-grandson of Constantine, the sister of the great Constantine, from the tribe of the Raska domination and related to Augustus Caesar. There was Tihomil in the Hill, and the old Chudomil. Their parent is Bella Urosh, the hair on his head was white. And their mother Anna, the daughter of the Frankish king. His parents and great-grandparents Nemani, [were] the pious Constantine and the torturer Licinius, his daughter, the martyr Irina, was tortured by him. Then Tsar Constantine of Constantinople rushed against the tormentor Licinius and defeated him in battle. Seeing his son Bella Uros, he fled to the land of Zahalmie. And from there Stefan Neman rose and went to his homeland Rashko, and in the church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul he was baptized at the age of 30. And there he built the church of St. George with two pillars [in the sense of towers]. And in Toplitsa the church "St. Nicholas". And near Kosanitsa a temple of the most holy. And in Ibro the church "St. Nicholas". And the temple of the Most Holy Mother of God in Studenitsa, where his relics lie. So his older brothers began to build holy churches. David built the Peter and Paul Church in Lim with two pillars. Stracimir built a church in Morava of the Most Holy Mother of God with two pillars [towers]. Pravoslav built the church of St. George in Budimli from two pillars [towers]. This Stefan was younger than his brothers. And he was an autocrat of the whole Serbian and Pomeranian land / from here it can be seen that the Serbian land is concretized and the one that was not Serbian /, and of the Pomorie Duklijska, and of Trebinje, and of Zahlamie. the same Stefan destroyed the Greek city of Sredets / today Sofia / and Petrnik / Petrich /, and Stob, and Zemlen, and Velbuzhd / Kyustendil /, and more, and the city of Prezren, and the glorious city of Nis, and other cities, and the land conquered / From this paragraph shows that He-Stephen conquered all these places, which were never Serbian, but Bulgarian, which after the death of Samuel became part of Byzantium /. This Stephen bore 3 sons: 1 his son Stephen was the first crowned king; 2 son Wolf was a great prince; 3 son Rashko, named Sava - he was 1 archbishop of the Serbs.

In 6606 [? 6706, ie 1196] Stefan Neman got a haircut and went to Mount Athos and built the Hilendar Monastery, with the temple "Introduction to the Mother of God".

This year his son Stephen [reigned] and reigned for 42 years, 2 as zupan. He built the Church of the Ascension in Zhichi.

In 6727 [1219] Sava was appointed archbishop.
The following is an enumeration of the ordination of bishops whom he appoints:

In 6732 [1224] the first crowned King Stephen was introduced. This Stefan gave birth to 4 sons. His first son - Radoslav. 2. son - Predislav. 3. Vladislav. 4. Stephen. And he had 1 son Stefan - Uros.
This paragraph clearly shows that before Stephen the Serbs had neither kings nor kingdoms, much less empires. It is no coincidence that his nickname Stefan Prvovenchani, ie the first with a royal title

The following is a list of other Serbian rulers

In 6838 [1330] King Stefan 3 Uros killed the Bulgarian Tsar Michael at Velbuzhd / Kyustendil /. And subdued the Bulgarians.
Which unequivocally shows that these lands have returned to Bulgaria and the population is Bulgarian.

In 6867 [1359] the Turks came to Gallipoli.

In 6869 [1371] he killed the king Ottoman (meaning the Turkish sultan) the brave Momchil, and captured Peritor.

In 6870 [1372] King Uros introduced himself, December.

This year he killed the Ottoman king Vulkashin, and despot Uglesha in Macedonia, on the river Maritsa / This is the Byzantine region / theme Macedonia in Thrace, today Southern Bulgaria /, September 26, and conquered Drenopol [Edirne].

This year, кнез/Prince Lazar accepted the Serbian leadership.

Let's go back to the previous one. The great кнез/prince Stephen, the great prince, the brother of the First-Crowned King and St. Sava - this Wolf gave birth to a son - the zupan Demetrius, who was a monk named David, [who] built [the temple] "Holy Epiphany" in Lim. this Dimitar gave birth to a son Vratko, who was a great кнез/prince. This Vratko gave birth to a son Vratislav, who was the father-in-law of Prince Lazar. this Vratislav gave birth to a daughter, Militsa, who was a nun. This Militia was from the tribe of the pious Simeon Neman. It was given to Prince Lazarus' wife. This Lazarus, on the other hand, went to Jerusalem and to the Holy Mountain. His homeland [hometown] was the town of Prilets, and his father was Pribac. He built the great temple of Ravanitsa, where his relics lie. This Lazar gave birth to 2 sons and 5 daughters: 1 his son Stefan, who was a great despot of the Serbian, Zeta, Bosnian and Hungarian lands. 2 his son Wolf, who was a virgin and had no wife. 1 his daughter Mara, who was given to Valko Brankovic. 2 daughters were given in Beta's Zeta. 3 [was given] to the Bulgarian king Shishman. 4 [was] given in Hungary to Zagarec Cielis. 5 [was] given to king Bayazid.

In 6894 [1386] the sun went dark all over the earth, January 1st.

This year he received Tsar Murad Povdin [Plovdiv] and other cities and captured the Bulgarian land.

In 6895 [1387] King Murad fled before Prince Lazar from Plocnik at the [river] Toplitsa.

In 6897 [1389] was the clash and battle of Kosovo. King Murad died there, and Prince Lazar after him accepted a blessed end, July 15.

This year his son Stephen reigned and reigned 38 years. This Stephen built the great church of the Holy Trinity in Resava.

In 6901 [1393] he received Tsar Bayazid Trnov [Tarnovo] and other cities, July 17.

In 6903 [1395] the Wallachian voivode Mircho defeated Tsar Bayazid of Rovinj, and Marko Kralevik, Kostadin and Dragash were killed.

In 6904 [1396] King Bayezid defeated King Sigismund [Sigismund] at Nikopol and three years later burned Ravanitsa.

This year he conquered Tsar Bayazid Vidin and Nikopol.

In 6927 [1419] the Wallachian voivode Mircho introduced himself. And then the next year King Murad subdued the Vlachs.

The chronicle continues until [1554], listing battles and conquests of the Turks in the Balkans.
...Even if a man lives well, he dies and another one comes into existence. Let the one who comes later upon seeing this inscription remember the one who had made it. And the name is Omurtag, Kanasubigi.

[QUOTE = Novi Pazar; 6919089] Направете вашето проучване на Ostrivojevic 815 - 840. [/ QUOTE]

If these rulers were tsare/kings, then there would be no talk of the First Serbian Kingdom and Stefan Parvovencani, do you understand that?
Today you can call them kings, emperors as you wish, but historically they did not have this title, but carried the ordinary Slavic title of the elder of the tribe-кнез/prince

Please do not make me read nonsense about the period 815 - 840 and the territorial distribution of the Balkans. In this period, first there is no Serbia
Second from the beginning of the 9th century during the rule of Krum after the defeat of the Avar Haganate by the Franks and Bulgarians, they shared a common border in the area of the city of Pest / present-day Hungary / Almost all of Pannonia and Transylvania were in Bulgarian possession. This lasted until almost the end of the 10th century.
...Even if a man lives well, he dies and another one comes into existence. Let the one who comes later upon seeing this inscription remember the one who had made it. And the name is Omurtag, Kanasubigi.

Nonsense is this ‘Bulgarian’ language, no historian recognised it as Turk, only as Serbian, a dialect of Serbian.......read Dubrovsky.

Pagane, l have no time for forgeries, especially ones particularly from Vatican, Roman/Byzantium, Austro-Hungarian etc....

There was much erasing, however, there is still many toponyms around Europe, North Africa, Middle East, Asia (rasia) named or derived from the nation Serbia. Closer to home there is too many names derived from Serbs/Serbia, even if we were to take falsified histories from 16th century onwards, makes them inconsistent because it simply cannot explain this phenomenon.

Real and true history explains it completely the opposite. Bulgaria and its little chitty empires achieved nothing, only ruled areas for a decade or two, never really managed to build nothing.
