Objectively Islamism (which was founded by the Muslim Brotherhood) is very Marxist in a lot of ways and Islam overall preaches collectivism and subservience (although all Abrahamic religions do to some extent). Islamism is very compatible because it is more about culture and norms than actual Dogma which is why Islamists tend to be somewhat more moderate in a lot of ways (in terms of dress etc) than actual fanatical Muslims like the Taliban. Hamas, Fatah and Hezbollah and the Baathists are all greatly influenced by Fascism and Marxist-Leninism as well as the Iranian regime (you can see the difference between them and Sadrists)

This isn't really true. Islamic law is pretty pro market in its foundations and has specific rules on interest rates, taxation, economic contracts which are completely antithetical to any form of socialism. Muhammed himself was a trader and certainly didn't live the life of a socialist, and modern Islamic nations like Saudi Arabia are extremely Capitalistic. You'll find Socialistic leaning Muslim leaders like Ghaddafi, Assad etc, are completely opposed by Wahhabists. Marxism also upholds philosophical dialectical materialism, which is fundamentally opposed to all forms of religion. Marx hated religion, and also opposed the concept of the nuclear family; the nuclear family being something very important to Christians, Jews and Muslims.

Islamism is more of pan-Arab/Nationalist ideology than a religious one. Islamism is a very specific school of thought.

What we are seeing more these days also, is a coming together of Jewish and Muslim ideas. I know this sounds impossible, but Judaism and Islam are becoming more friendly to each other, like for example these Abrahamic Accords signed between Israel and Muslim countries. I think ultimately, though, the Muslim countries will trick Israel and destroy it, when the West like the USA has been sufficiently weakened and could not protect Israel anymore. It is a mistake to trust Islam.
