In the supplementary they said they were raised in Scandinavian so they aren't Irish.

No two of the samples. There was 4 from Ireland and one was from the Western or Northern Isles of Scotland and was M222 and the female was Irish but the one from Galway and the other sample from Dublin were Norwegian. The Eyrephort one from Galway is Norwegian.

Interestingly the Irish female was blue eyed and blond.

The “local” at Ship Street Great was also predicted to have pale skin and blonde hair, with possible red undertones. In contrast, the famous Eyrephort warrior, who is of majority Norwegian-like ancestry, most probably had a darker complexion with brown hair and eyes.

Have you looked at the Pictish average have made up? I'd say it's the best proxy yet for \North West Celts, better than LBA Scotland, or Roman Britain. Works very well.

Need to start to separate the ancient Irish, Pictish and Britons(using Roman Britain, IA Britons and possibly Saxons and vikings of the Brythonic heritage?) against the Norwegian, Danes and Swedes. G25 works best when you make accurate averages rather than using single samples.

These Irish samples will be the first ancient Irish we can play with that are from Ireland. Not including the Bronze age ones, that don't seem to match up so well.
