The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has unveiled a $28 billion program to send the first woman to the moon in 2024 as part of its Artemis program.

Now, this reminded me something, there was recently heated political discussion here, when leader of Keskusta party demanded Finland starts its own space program and sends its own astronauts (called sisunauts) to space. Now, this met much ridicule actually; first of all purely technically its quite demanding to send a rocket to space from Finnish latitudes. Typically equator is preferred. But then again Russia has send rockets to space from Barents Sea, so obviously it can be done. I still believe its more likely that sisunaut gets to space, than female astronaut sets here tiny foot on moon's surface.

Who is this woman is she exceptional in math and science or any way ? Why is she worthy of 28 million.

Math needed to send a rocket into space : Men created it Newton and Leibniz and all the way down to the base supporting axioms. Hypatia ? Nope, a few Axioms from Euclid maybe though.

Expertise to send the men to space : Mostly gotten from Nazi male rocket scientists such as Von Braun and perfected upon by male engineers.

To paraphrase or summize former Dean of Harvard University Larry Summers : "women suck at math and science compared to men".
