YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Large numbers of Turkish Armed Forces special operations force troops have been deployed to Azerbaijan since the beginning of August 2020 and have been carrying out large-scale combat readiness trainings for the Azerbaijani Armed Forces troops, the Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office said citing evidence obtained during the ongoing investigation that was launched over the war of aggression against Artsakh, the gross violations of international humanitarian law and grave crimes against humanity and peace committed by the Turkish-backed Azeri forces.

The prosecution said that these Turkish commandos trained the Azeri troops especially for mountainous terrain operations. Moreover, the Turkish troops had informed the Azeri servicemen about an upcoming attack on Artsakh.

Since September 3, the Azerbaijani reservists were drafted under a general mobilization, and the public was misled by the Azeri government’s disinformation claiming that the mobilization is carried out for a one-week military exercise, and the reservists began undergoing combat readiness training in various army corps of the Azeri military.

From September 21, Azerbaijan began deploying both regular army and reserve forces in combat positions near the Azerbaijan-Artsakh border, and in the night of September 26-27 they were ordered to attack from all directions on the combat positions of the Artsakh Defense Army, using all armaments available in the Azeri arsenal.

Moreover, beginning from mid-September, the Azeri military started deploying artillery systems in the yards of residential homes, tree-covered areas with low-visibility in densely populated settlements near the border, claiming to the residents that the weapons are being stationed there for the drills. However, from the very first day of the war these artillery systems were used for combat.

According to the factual data obtained by the investigation, the Turkish special operations force servicemen had direct participation in the military operations, in accordance to their plan.

The prosecution said it continues the investigation.

Dmitry Solntsev, an ethnic Russian soldier, was killed in the battle for the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from the occupation of Armenia.

As reported by Trend on Sunday, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan-head of the foreign policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev wrote on his Twitter page.

"The brave son of Azerbaijan - soldier Dmitry Solntsev died in the battle for the liberation of our lands from the occupation of Armenia. He was 25 years old. As an ethnic Russian, he was a proud citizen of multicultural Azerbaijan.

The heinous war crimes of the Armenian puppet state in occupied Azerbaijan include bombing civilian populated areas far away from the active war zone. Ganja city is over 40 miles away from occupied Azerbaijan. They have killed many innocent civilians.

I hate to post stuff like this but they murdered a 13 year old boy - Artur Vasilyevich Mayakov, a Russian citizen whose family was Orthodox Christian in their 17 October attack on Ganja.



On the 4th of October the so-called "President" Arayik Harutyunyan of the occupiers made terroristic threats demanding Azerbaijanis basically ethnically cleanse themselves from their own homes:

Some Azerbaijanis have now been forced to become refugees twice by Armenian forces within the past 30 years. Forced to flee Armenia or the occupied rayons in the late 1980/early 1990s and now being forced to flee places they had resettled to - places like Ganja and Terter. This twice a refugee situation reminds me of some Turkish Cypriots who were displaced twice, first in 1963-64 and then again 1974.

She deleted the picture shortly afterwards when the mistake was realised. The picture shows a couple soldiers wearing the military uniform of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan (SBS). Are they PKK members aiding Armenians? Perhaps they are the so-called "Syrian Mercenaries" that Armenia has been alleging since day one? Nonetheless it is a war crime to wear the uniform of an enemy army whilst at war.

Armenia has 3-4x less population and 3-4x less GDP than Azerbaijan & have to make up for it somehow (child + women soldiers). They only have stronger will/spirit to win but are really underfunded and lacking manpower.

Source information from Azerbaijan, and the Turkic echo chamber here distorts and slanderously spins information. Always take it with skepticism. I put most of them into the ignore category, for now.

For example: Artsakh (Karabakh) with population of 150,000; Armenia, with population of 3,000,000; Azerbaijan, with population of 10,000,000; and, Turkey with population of 82,000,000; also, Armenians achieved their immediate strategic goal, in 1994, so guess who's been breaking ceasefires and starting all the warfare, during the last three decades. The motive for it is entirely with Azerbaijan and Turkey.
