To be frank with you, I sympathize with the Azeris more here on the fact that people would use some here would use the same sort of justification that Israel uses when it comes to occupation(these lands are historically been ours and shieet), and the fact that Armenian doesn't even recognize Palestine while Azerbaijan did, rofl.

From what I heard Israel and Armenia have no diplomatic relations. Israel does not recognize genocide on Armenians in WW1. Azerbaijan is huge buyer of Israeli weapons (only in one tranche Azerbaijan bought Israeli weapons in a value of over 5 000 000 000 $).

Both countries have fully diplomatic relations, and yes, the reason why Israel doesn't is that it would offend the Turks and Azeris which means that they would suffer military and economic relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan. As far as I'm concerned, this conflict is better resolved with the international community and criminal justice here.

But to be fair who hasn't bought Israeli weapons via direct or by proxy? You can find Uzi's all over the world likewise with the Galil.

Yup. Russia is making a lot of money by selling their military equipment for both Armenia and Azerbaijan, so really, it isn't just the US that is guilty on this.

Yea every major nation deals arms above and bellow the board. Most weapons smugglers probably are tied to some government somehow imo. Russia and the U.S are the smartest because they generally sell to both sides like the U.S did with the Iran Iraq War.

Or what the US and the Brits are doing in the whole Saudi-Yemen war which Trump sold over 200 billion USD worth of American military equipment to the Saudis. Trump doesn't like the Saudis which I think he looks down on them as some stupid tribesmen, but they have a lot of oil and gas which means profit for him. Same with the UK as well.

I think a lot of that has to do with the Deep State too who love the Saudis because of like you said, they have oil and gas. They are no matter if Trump likes them or not an important political force in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. They for better or worse have the ability to control moderates and fanatics alike in a lot of cases. I think they are pretty smart but they are too spoiled. Saudis are coddled and fed with a silver spoon unless they are the super poor class.

Anglo-Saxon talk is very cheap, everybody knows this (especially on Human Rights, Democracy, etc). Too bad for them even this soft power is dissapearing, and people will soon laugh when they make demands like women's education etc.
