I have nothing against Azerbaijan, but do have against Saudi Arabia and Gulf Monarchies.

Azerbaijan is directly linked with Turkey as it has been the case for decades now, and the pan-Turkic ideology is alive and well. Of course, Islamist soldiers are mere cannon fodder for the greater schemes of things here which Turkey for example had been meddling with Syria's and Iraq's affairs even before Erdogan came to power. People would exploit the Islamic ummah for their own goals and ambitions. There is no bad blood between us Levantine Arabs and Armenians. In fact, we like them far more than say other Muslim groups in the region.

When the truth is...Iran is benchmark Middle Eastern, was "taught" its Aryan past by German archaeologists...and is really run by its mercantile elements (merchants in /bazaars, iranian diaspora funding, etc). Educated Iranians HATE shia islam (which they stupidly think is all Islam, and rightly blame as "Arab worship") and are just hypocritically putting on an act. They could care less about Palestinians or Yemenis...but they see Syria, Lebanon, Iraq as part of some ancient Parthian/Sassanian sphere and will use the Shia BS to fool the (devoutly) Shia Arabs of those places.
