YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani military has opened fire at civilian homes in border towns of Iran, Azariha channel reported posting videos showing the destroyed buildings.
“Houses in Iran’s border settlements are destroyed due to Baku’s actions, due to the deployment of their forces at the border with Iran. Instead of deploying their positions to the north-south, the Baku forces are deployed in the east-west,” the Iranian channel said, noting that in addition the Azeri forces are also sending military drones into Iranian airspace, and have deployed “takfir” terrorists at the Iranian border.

Viasat Inc. vows to suspend drone tech supply to Turkey

Viasat, Inc. has vowed that it is halting the supplies of its technologies to Turkey which is using them in manufacturing the Bayraktar combat drones that are used extensively by the Azeri armed forces and jihadist mercenaries from terror groups in the attacks on civilians in Artsakh.
Armenian-Americans were holding a protest outside the American company’s headquarters in California and were granted audience with Ken Peterman, President, Government Systems at Viasat Inc.
After the meeting with Peterman, one of the demonstrators, Kristine Halajian, said that the Viasat Inc. executive was unaware that their product is being used by terrorists. Halajian said that Peterman has announced that Viasat Inc. is suspending supplies to Turkey and that it will demand explanations from the federal government of the United States.
“They will no longer get our product, and I am very thankful for these peaceful protests so that the terrorism stops,” the Viasat Inc. representative told the demonstrator.
Viasat Inc. is expected to issue an official statement over its suspension of supplies to Turkey soon.

Two Major U.S. Lobby Firms Terminate Contracts with Azerbaijan.

WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Two major American lobbying companies, DLA Piper and The Livingston Group, have terminated contracts with Azerbaijan, the Armenian Assembly of America reports.
The Armenian Assembly of America today announced a campaign to pressure lobbying and public relations firms to “reject blood money” from Azerbaijan.
The group’s co-chairs, Anthony Barsamian and Van Krikorian, said they would be reaching to the firms as well as their other clients to urge them to take their business elsewhere.
“Instead of flacking for the Aliyev regime whose leader has promised to wipe out the Christian Armenians ‘like dogs,’ these firms need to stop taking blood money from Azerbaijan and Turkey if they have any conscience or sense of American patriotism,” said Board Co-Chairs Anthony Barsamian and Van Krikorian.
On September 27 Azerbaijan, with the support of Turkey, launched a massive attack against the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh), by using all its ammunition, targeting also the civilian infrastructures both in Artsakh and Armenia. There are confirmed reports that there are mercenaries in the Azerbaijani army brought from Syria by Turkey for fighting against the Armenian side.
On October 10 an agreement has been reached in Moscow between the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers on cessation of hostilities in the NK conflict zone for humanitarian purposes. However, minutes after the agreement entered into force Azerbaijan again launched attacks against Artsakh and till now continues violating the humanitarian truce.

Exactly. It is time for Baku regime to come to senses and recognize the right of Armenian people of Artsakh to self-determination, the people who have lived on these lands for at least thousand years before the nomadic ancestors of Turkoman tribes first were settled in these areas by Persian empire.

Iranian Media Informed about use of Israeli Drones by Azerbaijan.

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan is frequently using Israeli drones, and this fact shows that foreign forces are interfering in the military operations around the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview to IRNA.
“It has been confirmed at the international level that Turkey has deployed terrorist mercenaries from Syria to the region for conducting military operations. This is a serious threat to the region, and unfortunately, the regional countries are not sufficiently reacting to this fact. But it’s obvious that the presence of terrorists is going to create threats, and we will yet see its consequences in the region. And I think that the regional countries should react to this fact more strictly”, the PM added.
The reporter said Iran is concerned that the NK conflict will turn into a large-scale and long-term war, and in addition to the foreign military forces, the global forces will also infiltrate into this region.
Asked what is his proposal and solution to eliminating this concern and returning the issue to the Armenian-Azerbaijani dialogue framework, the PM stated: “Azerbaijan is widely using Israeli UAVs, and this fact also proves that there are external forces which interfere, in other words, this interference is expressed in different ways. Except for the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries [US, Russia, France], no any interference is welcomed. But the fact is that even the Minsk Group Co-Chair countries are not able to influence the ongoing developments, and the situation is such also due to this. Yes, they are making statements, expressing their positions, but are unable to have a real influence on the situation, this is a fact”.
