lol you thought Georgia was a decent neighbor? I've no issues with ordinary Georgian people but their foreign policies have never favored Armenia whatsoever.

It's just realpolitik. Georgia is very anti-Russia while Armenia is very pro-Russia, so they're trying to deter Russian influence as much as they can. It was the country that carved out two de facto independent states from Georgia. No country would respect Russia if they did the same to them. I'm not sure if the common Georgian is siding with Azerbaijan on this though.

Wrong. Americans definitely know where Canada is, northerners would also know where Seattle and Toronto are depending on which part of the US they're from. And most people outside of countries neighboring the Caucasus can't find it on the map. Also, the guy who thinks Turkey is allied with Iran is just one American.
