How else should I respond? And not sure whether ethnic jokes are funny or I can laugh at them if they involve me personally. Like someone else asked me whether I play trumpet or accordeon in the Ask Mortimer thread. That is kinda a balkan joke, I think he is macedonian or serb, but it does has a discriminative connotation or disrespectful. I dont know if you get that. Is it still funny if the joke about chinese ladies involves a chinese female user on TA? Do you understand the difference?

Yes it is funny, it's about playing a musical instrument. It would be offensive if it was about begging or some pejorative quality. Same for the chinese accent.

yeah the background is that often roma musicians are disrespected kinda like prostitutes, i know my uncle was and he played his whole life accordeon. you should know the context. you seem biased, denying the discriminative nature, and the stereotyping. but ok you are albanian, and you find it funny, because you are albanian.

anyways, roma are generally disrespected, and steretyping them has a discriminative nature whether you denie that or not. many deny that roma are discriminated at all. or if they are they think because they bring upon themselfes.

roma music is more disrespected then albanian music, this is for sure. some are popular but still disrespected a little bit, but only a few are famous. the majority at weddings or something get discriminated often, my uncle was. but they are more respected then beggars, and yes roma are generally disrespected even a "gypsy scientist" would be a "gypsy scientist" not like a "albanian scientist". makes no sense denying that. i know it is like that. and i dont know what you expect from me, how i should reply.
