In my opinion that boy must have the choice to decide for another nationality too.
Some countries don't allow that chance.
Happily this country do and you can have at leadt one nationality more.

At least here if you born in México, you will be always mexican and you'll always be:

"Por su parte, la carta magna no permite en ningún caso perder la nacionalidad"

And you can get dual nationality too; for example: Mexicano-estadounidense

So in that example of the nigerian boy; if he was born here, and he go to Nicaragua and lives there 10 years for example; he will be mexican-nicaraguan or mexican-nigerian but always mexican even if he likes or not (Idk if Nigeria is ius soli or ius sanguinis btw)

But if I am honest; I am very jelous when it comes about México and being mexican; I would like the people born here couldn't have chance to have dual nationality, being just pure mexican...the uniques ways I will let a mexican-born has dual nationality would be:

1.If that person married with a person from other country and wants to live in the country of his/her pareja

2.If my country is in war; and the mexicans get out/escape from here and go to live in other country

As I said; this is what I think about my country and being a mexican-born, I know I am a terrible person lol xd
