Alright, so I used to have super thick hair and I thought I would never go significantly receding or thinning but now in my 40s it suddently hit me
Looks to avoid : calm over and ponytail
There are some other simply ok options but this is the best option. If you have a round baby face you may need more serious hair growth like some sort of goatee, beard or mustache.
Tools you need :
Salon grade hair clippers
An electric beard trimmer
The look : trim beard 5mm or up to 2mm your choice also if your beard is slightly patchy clean it up and make smooth lines if it is very patchy you can't pull the look off. Cut your hair all around on zero guard preferably 0.5 zero guard but even 0.0 works and I do it every week or so but Jason is rumored to do it once a month which goes with its low maintenance appeal. Pair with a suit or business casual e.g. sports coat or blazer and slacks etc... and you look like you mean serious business.
It helps if you are relatively tallish and not 150 pound weakling. I'm about 6 foot tall and over 200 pounds without being obese.
If you have darker hair and are not as balding as as Jason, such as myself, you can add a part on your scalp with the beard trimmer for an extra slick badass vibe :
(actually seeing these pictures it looks like maybe I should grow my beard out more oh well !)
See the part in my hair ? Jason could not do that because his hair is not as dark as mine and he is more balding but he still pulls the look off very well :
Achtung ! Avoid at all costs these looks !
