Some Kazakh are apparently kinda pissed about Borat character. One made a claim Baron Cohen would never dare to paint Black folk in similar light he has done with the Kazakh. The Kazakh might be right.

Well yeah that is valid point. The defense from moviemakers/Hollywood pov is that according to them Borat-character is so over the top that nobody takes him seriously. That too I guess has a hint of truth in it, but doesn't change fact double standards of sorts seem to exist.

You should walk in a Hollywood studio, claim you are a actor, and complain there is underpresentation of overweight gypsy in Hollywood movies (this is obvious fact despite Jason Momoa claims to be gypsy, besides he's not overweight). You will quickly be cast in new Marvel movie as genderswapped Batwoman aka Batman.

There is really a underrepresentation of positive portrayal of gypsies. Gypsies are in Horror movies or as trash in comedies. But I guess in america gypsies are not significant enough as population and dont have the lobby etc.

gypsy heroe ok, but why overweight? he should be fit like thor, but anyways there were some charismatic characters before who were a bit overweight and still main protagonists like in mike and molley just a sitcom but still. or the dude who was fedex driver and had a skinny wife also a sitcom, i dont know the name of the sitcom but he was a fedex driver, and the father of his wife also lived in his house, he also does movies not only sitcoms. but if i wanted to be hollywood heroe i would work out totally and try to be fit as thor.
