Now, if a girl I was considering dating was learning German and trying to speak German with me, even if she made grammatical errors, I would be understanding and try to help her, not insult her and call her an impostor. I just can't wrap my head around why one would be so rude towards someone who is a prospective date. I have an Italian frequency dictionary and a book of modern Italian grammar, so I will study those. I also joined the Chicago Italian language group where they speak 100% in Italian. This is much better considering that the Denver Italian group used so much English, I got fed up and stopped going.
