Si uno mira videos de carnavales sincelejo y monteria nada o poco tienen que ver con esta gente. En mi opinion mas bien tienen que ver con costeños mas proximos a venezuela Valledupar Riohacha y Santa Marta, incluso Barranquilla.

Tal vez mas el interior? Son menos negros que los cartagineros.

Los cartagineses y curramberos diria que son incluso menos negros que la zona antioqueña del caribe

As I said, Sucre state gets more African the more east you go, buts get more mestizo (still many triracials and some few griffes here and there, but lots of mestizos too) the more west you go. Cumana, the state capital is in the very west of the state. Notice how there are also lots of mestizos in these videos from a Madurista meeting in Cumana:
