But some people also consider Dards as Indo-Iranic also and these Dards were not restricted to these areas above the Peshawar valley in ancient times though. They were pretty widespread in Gandhara also and after mixing with Sakas and Parthians they formed the major Karlani pashtun tribe. Even some unmixed Dards were later pashtunized and formed the Dilazaks
