Yes but she still has a bit of a Levantine look. Probably not the best casting choice but not the worst either imo for Hollywood standards. It's probably just because she is Jewish.

In this sense, she may be a good cast. However, from ancient portayals Cleopatra looked far more Dinaroid/Dinaro-med, probably Lyndsey Marshal in Rome was the best cast I have seen.





That said, I haven't seen a modern movie that focusses on Cleopatra's ability as a leader. The main theme is that she is the seductress of Mark Anthony before they both get eventually fucked by Augustus.
