Facebook bans Holocaust denial content

Facebook now prohibits Holocaust denial content on its platform as the social network says it is concerned about the rise of antisemitism.

When users research the Holocaust on Facebook, they will be redirected to sources containing reliable information, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Monday.

Zuckerberg explained his desire to strike a balance between freedom of expression and the fight against hateful content.

It is not easy to draw a clear line between what is acceptable and what is not, according to Zuckerberg, who nonetheless believes Facebook is now striking the right balance.

That is a joke back around during the year 2000 and before tech people where all for free speech and now the big corporations such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and Youtube censor information and block free speech. And since a few tech companies have a monopoly or oligopoly on the internet it has been quite effective for the sheeple (masses)

-no law will segregate you from society, no one will persecute you for being what you are.
-no police force will never raid your house and arrest you without warrant.
-and deport you with thousands of other people on trains, as if you were cattle, to the concentration camps
-you won't get shot, stabbed or beaten to death if you don't do your daily share of work once you get there.
-and there won't be any gas chamber for you.

-Tell that to the 14 million Soviets, the 7 million Germans who perished during WW2. And of course, tell it to the 6 million Jews who were horribly exterminated in Nazi death camps.

-Tell it to our soldiers suffering from the unsanitary conditions of trench life in France, with persistent cold, mud and dampness, rats, lice and exhaustion, constantly frozen with fear because of the deadly mortar shells, machine guns, flamethrowers and poison gas.

-Tell it to our military cemeteries marked with thousands and thousands of wooden crosses.

I say it in all honesty. Europe is the continent that suffered most casualties. Modern Europeans (except for those living in the war-torn Balkans and Caucasus) living in prosperous welfare states are oblivious of that fact, but Europe used to be the most terrible battleground on Earth.
