They fit in the kurdish spectrum. I think you’ve made a typo.

I was seeing some videos from Azerbaijan and i saw a good amount people with that Mtebid look, i was really surprised.
Probably those in Iran are more Iranic shifted while those in Azerbaijan republic are more Caucasian genetically.

I dont think so. All Azeris except Azeri_Dagestan are more close to Iranians than to Caucasians.

As for now Azerbaijanis are more like a mix between Turks and NW-Iranians like the Talysh (who are already a bit Caucasus shifted).
they have a distinct look honestly,,Ilham Aluyev looks like some of those dagestanis,caucasians...while his wife looks persian ,some of them look simply armenian like Ilhams mother

they do not look turkish much

Iranians referred to them as 'tork' and turks as 'osman'. Armenians did call azeris turks though so yes, they were referred to as turks and still are by both Arm and Iran. But Russians called them Tatars.

Why did they refer to them as Osman?

Actually i'm interested in how Turkey and late Ottomans called Azerbaijani Turks. Maybe someone can answer to this.

    - Some Azerbaijanis are close to Anatolian Turks (Central, South and East Anatolian). Especially, Azerbaijanis from Turkey (Kars and Iğdır), Azerbaijanis from Armenia, Azerbaijanis from Northwest parts of Azerbaijan and Qarapapaq Azerbaijanis (Kars, Georgia, Qazax, Ağstafa, Shemkir and Tovuz). They are fixed as Armenian + Central Asian Turkic or Armenian + Central Anatolian Greek + Central Asian Turkic.

    - Some Azerbaijanis are close to Iranians. Especially, Azerbaijanis from Karabakh, Azerbaijanis from Nakhchivan, Azerbaijanis from East parts of Azerbaijan (Baku, Lankaran etc.) and Azerbaijanis from Iran. They are fixed as Iranian + Central Asian Turkic or Iranian + Armenian + Central Asian Turkic.

    - Some Azerbaijanis are close to Caucasians. Especially, Azerbaijanis from Dagestan and Azerbaijanis from North parts of Azerbaijan (Zaqatala, Balaken, Qabala, Quba etc.). They are fixed as Lezgin/Avar + Central Asian Turkic or Lezgin/Avar + Iranian + Central Asian Turkic.

So, genetic of Azerbaijanis vary by regions like Anatolian Turks, Iranians and Greeks.
Because, Azerbaijani people have imperial background. The populations which have imperial background with "lingua franca", for example Anatolian Turks, Azerbaijani Turks, Persians, Greeks, Arabs, Uzbeks etc. have heterogeneous genetic profiles by regions. The populations which don't have imperial background, for example Kurds, Circassians, Armenians, Assyrians, Georgians, Lezgins, Chechens, Avars, Lazes etc. have more homogeneous genetic profile by regions.

    - Central Asian Turkic effect and Turkic heritage is highest among the first group, Azerbaijanis from Northwest parts of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijanis from Armenia, Azerbaijanis from Turkey and Azerbaijanis from Georgia.

    - Anatolian effect (Greek and Armenian) is highest among the first group, Azerbaijanis from Northwest parts of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijanis from Armenia, Azerbaijanis from Turkey and Azerbaijanis from Georgia.

    - Iranian effect is highest among the second group, Azerbaijanis from Karabakh, Azerbaijanis from Nakhchivan, Azerbaijanis from East parts of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis from Iran.

    - Caucasian effect is highest among the third group, Azerbaijanis from Dagestan and Azerbaijanis from North parts of Azerbaijanis.
