I think there will be a small one in my lifetime. I am not sure about now. We will see. It won't be nearly as big as the last one, though. MUCH less is at stake.

It won't be like Gettysburg or Shiloh, but more like Belfast in the 1970s and 80s (which the Brits royally fucked up btw. And judging from the U.S Army's experiences, I think we can tell where that will be going). Fourth generation wars are actually worse because there are no battle lines and no clear point of surrender. These fourth generation wars can drag on for a long, long time.

There's like hundreds of thousands to a million in The Mall, and there's tens of thousands in the Capitol entrance, with more thousands breaching the fencing.

Even if it was a few dozens, it is still the US Capitol. There shouldn't normally be ANYONE inside it who isn't an employee of the building or isn't an official.

And, it is noon in DC now. By night, there will be millions in front of the Capitol. People are still coming in, literally, the attendance has just begun.
