She entered the Capitol Building, through a previously smashed and broken window. If someone breaks into a home that way, one possible consequence would be that the intruder could get shot.

How does the Armenian Genocide have any relevance to what I said? I never mentioned the Armenian Genocide in this Thread. in the first place, we're talking about one woman shot & killed, and maybe a half dozen total deaths at the event; on the other hand, perhaps 1,500,000 Armenians perished in the century old genocide, and hundreds of thousands more were exiled from their homes.

I simply stated what I observed in a cellphone video that showed Ashli Babbitt (wearing a backpack) entering the Capitol Building through a broken window, previously smashed as she waited outside. If my memory served me wrong and she got in some other way instead. then I"ll own it. All I did was to point out that the plain-clothed officers had a duty to defend the Capitol Building, and expel intruders.
