The British were the Queen of the Sea. Periodt. But that's largely because they stole Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch naval technology. Now, the US has inherited that title from the Brits.

British Empire... although today we need to build up our fleet with all the hostile daily threats of a new naval war against the UK... from the bullies in France, Spain, and several other European nations governments ganging up in the EU against the UK over an extremely fierce fishing dispute. Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark, Gemany, and others all heavily rely on UK fishing waters.... and the British are fuming with the French and Dutch the most.

The last country to fight the EU mafia in a fishing war was Canada (Turbot War) with the British and Irish siding with Canada against Portugal and Spain. (Canada had the same problem as the UK is facing with an environmental and marine life crisis caused by the appalling and highly controversial EU death trawlers... and the greedy EU mafia mega trawlers nearly decimated all the turbot fish and marine life near Newfoundland.)

The last time the UK got into a naval fishing battle was during the Cod Wars with Iceland.

Given the brutal attack on UK fishermen by over 20 French trawlers two nights ago (who fired flares, etc,) UK politicians and the public are now calling on our PM to use our Royal Navy to put a stop to the arrogant French bullies.

Also a French warship was filmed and photographed last month dumping thousands of illegal migrants onto our southern English coast, sparking further UK public fury and national outrage against the French (especially given that the UK has paid France over £114 million to stop it.... and France is now demanding another £30 million from the UK.)

Greenpeace activists jumped onto a German supertrawler the other day and stopped them from overfishing in a protected nursery area near Scotland. For once, the right cheered and agreed with Greenpeace. Marine biologists and scientists are also against EU super trawlers and Dutch electric pulse fishing which sterilises the seabed. They're killing thousands of our seals, dolphins, porpoises and beluga whales in our UK waters, and there's also many concerns about a near extinction of certain fish supplies from EU mega trawlers which are 14 times larger than UK fishing vessels and are heavily overfishing.

For decades, EU trawlers (under the EU's CFP laws) have decimated UK fishing industries and our coastal communities through greed... and they're turning our seas into deserts by unsustainable overfishing.

The UK recently agreed to a fishing deal in the 200 mile UK fishing water zone with our independent friends in Norway.

President Macron of France and Michel Barnier are arrogantly demanding the same fishing quotas after the Brexit transition period ends... and Boris has given them until 15th October to drop their demands or he said he'll pull the plug on UK-EU trade talks.

Now Spanish and French and other EU mafia officials have made verbal threats this week to the UK of a naval battle if the UK takes back full control of our fishing waters when we fully leave the EU dictatorship. Russian supertrawlers also need kicking out of UK waters.

70% of the EU's fish stocks swim in UK waters. Millions of Europeans like eating our fish and depend on fish in their diets.
