303 Serbian families from northern Dalmatia in 1771. moved to present day Ukrainian part of Galicia. Average persons by family among northern Dalmatian Serbs in 1709. on Venetian census was 9.8 according to several Serbian village for which i found data. This means about 2970 Dalmatian Serbs settled in Galicia in 1771. They are recorded in sources as emigrants in Poland, because Galicia was part of Poland in that time. They actually arrived in the same year when Austria took Galicia from Poland, and migration was organized by Austrians.
