    Luke 27-36

    I always struggled with this quote. While it's necessary for ones mental health to forgive those (you feel) have wronged you, it can also promote passive simp-behavior and further promote being taken advantage of if you don't put your foot down and show that you had enough of their BS.

    It just means you don't fully understand the essence of what Jesus taught here. Everything he said is true, and the best advice anyone can take about life. Some of the things of God may sound like foolishness to those who will perish, but it is the wisdom of God to all those who belong to him and who are to inherit eternal life.
