My point was that White Europeans many times feel an ethnic connection with white americans, from south to north.

Happens that White Argentines and Uruguayans with their 4 grandparents from colonial ancestry are better seen and can be more accepted in spanish society and in europe in general. Than if the exact same situation happens to a White Colombian or Venezuelan. With same admixture proportions, or even if the Colombian is whiter , doesn't matter.

So, from what I read in this forum. Whites from those two first countries are maybe better seen from Europeans than other white hispanics.

white Americans with "colonial" ancestry usually have little bits of native American and or SSA (if they have ancestry from the southern states) too

Genetics are lottery ..... while you are right . Most of the time genetics don't match phenotype. I have Mexican relatives who you wouldn't guess being In the European 80's range are Indeed there others who look very native american are more Euro.

One cousin of mine In Mexico who could pass as Irish or English easily Is only 73% European. Latin America Is probably the most diverse region on the planet In terms of looks and ancestries etc

It says hes only 50 percent european. So i mean he could have looked more euro or less either way.

But yea it can be a lottery at times. Alot of people outside of the latino realm don't understand that.
