There was a old Pontic Greek woman who’s good friend of my grandma.I barely remember her surname, it was sound like Kalandaris or Kalandaridis something like that.

Awesome, my family moved mostly to Thrace in the 1920s I believe. A lot in modern day have gone more to Kavala. I would have to visit them to ask where they settled down after since the ones in America have forgotten or who had the knowledge passed away a couple years back. Ιt seems to be more common in Nea Zixni, some place in Serres, which is close to Kavala but not quite. Good luck.
