First one I see from around Zakho. She has no close Assyrian relatives on Gedmatch and barely any distant ones either(Assyrian ones that is).

The results I posted are of the woman in the pic, she is from Zakho. Her husband, the guy is from a village a couple miles north of Mosul.

Do you know what ethnic groups are the references for Nineveh on 23andme? With the new update I have it as one of my regions, and I also have a few Assyrian matches. Assyrians must be part of that reference right?

I'm pretty sure the Nineveh region has some Assyrian references. Many if not most Assyrians seem to get it as one of their regions.
