Id say with modern supplements and similar genetics you can attain a bit more lean mass than sandow. Your guy looks like Frank Zane a elite Bodybuilder that admits his steroid use.

Pretty true, plus it's about what you eat aside from genetics. If you eat foods that don't process into tissue easily you are gonna be less swole, eggs are the best food to tack on mass.

Lazar has good genetics. He looked in shape even in the 'before photos'.
Having a 'V shaped body' doesn't imply muscularity. My friend has that naturally (tiny waist and hips+wide shoulders compared to his lower body) but he's skinny and has inferiority complex because of how he is built. He tried to gain fat by eating chocolate and other high carb foods all the time, but he was unable. He also has trouble building muscle.

Hackenschmidt wasnt as lean, we gotta relate the muscle mass to the body fat percantage, if your natty a low % bodyfat will negatively affect your muscle mass long turn, thats why Sandow is so impressive.
