So I recently became interested with east eurasian genetics and I wanted to find out how closely related southeast asian people are to each other and to chinese ethnic groups. It's hard to look for dodecad results for southeast asian people thankfully someone posted it above. I used the Vahaduo dodecad k12b calculator but tweaked the source population a bit by adding filipino since they don't have that in their reference populations. They also do not have the lao people. Cambodians, Indonesian, malays from Singapore and Malaysia seem to form a very tight cluster. They all have high south Asian admixture and they all seem to be somewhat close to Paniya which is an ethnic group in India. All these group also have high Austroasiatic component in some studies. Interestingly, the only Thai sample that I found was closer to Malays than to dai/Zhuang/Vietnamese people probably because of the relatively high south Asian component.

The Filipino and Vietnamese people seem to be more pure east asians relative to the other groups. All three filipino samples score very low south asian component. It looks like Fiipinos are closer to southern china ethnic minorities (such as the Zhuang) and Vietnamese than they are to their Austronesian cousins Indonesians and Malaysians. It would be more interesting if there are taiwanese aborigines dodecad result

Out of all these samples, Vietnamese seem to be the closest to Chinese ethnic minority groups such as Lahu and Zhuang. They are closer to these people than Filipinos are and they also have very low south asian component. Vietnamese are Austroasiatic speakers however they do not seem to be very close to Cambodians.

Burmese are closer to another tibeto-burman speaking group than they are to any southeast asian group.

It would be nice to have more thai samples preferably coming from the central and northern part. I think this sample is from the southern area since the result is closer to that of a Cambodian/malay. I expected Filipinos to be somewhat closer to Indonesians/malays but it looks like they only share the language but not much on the genetics part.

I also do not have Laos people dodecad result. It would be nice to compare them to other southeast Asians.
I also have some southeast asian harappaworld results that I run in the vahaduo calculator but I did not post it here since this is for dodecad but I can post them if anyone is interested.

Zhuang people still closest to Vietnamese people. Southern Han (average) is closest to hmong-mien speakers. The single Yulin sample is most likely admixed with Austronesian since its closest population is Filipino. Another Cantonese sample seems to be mixed with Austronesian.
