Turanid is not Siberian type at all. Turanid is a mix between Med and Mongoloid elements. Common in places where Med interacts with Mongoloid elements: Central Asia, Turkey, SE Europe.

In Siberia can be found in South Siberia among Turkic groups. In Russian literature this type is exactly what it is called "South Siberian type".
