I have deep respect for religion. But one should stay away from fanatics of any religion, since they do not lead people to God, but frighten these people with God.
In Poland, the permission for abortion in case of rape was left. It would be better, on the contrary, it was forbidden, and in case of deformities it would be allowed. In case of rape, the child is at least healthy. Forcing a woman to give birth to an obviously incurable monster is also similar to being raped by the state. By your religious fanatics. They play the role of rapists here. And they also look like a religious inquisition - they also believed that they were fighting for God.
How all this will end in Poland - I can tell you. An increase in clandestine abortions, an increase in abortions in other countries, where women from Poland will travel to resolve the issue and with renewed vigor - the outflow of the population from Poland. They already have demographic problems due to the outflow of population to Western Europe - now they will begin with renewed vigor. Young women will flee from Poland to live in the West - Poland will become dangerous for life and psyche, where women are forced to give birth to downs (women give birth now quite lately in pursuit of a "career", so there will be many such children). And everything in Poland will end with the fact that the abortion ban will be lifted again, but it will be too late - there will be more downs in the country (on the neck of the state, women will give them to the state right in maternity hospitals and do the right thing - she was not going to give birth to a sick child, who made her (the state) - let them bother with it) and the number of healthy women will decrease greatly. Because there is no need to go to people and rape them, like your Polish legislators and your religious fanatics. The Christian variety of radical Islamists - they also believe that they are for holiness and can dictate to everyone how they should live.
The problem is not solved by force, but only by increasing confidence in the future, which the current socio-economic model no longer provides.
