Probably social media because it's mostly fake. These social influencers use their platform as a source of income, so while young impressionable people are imitating their lifestyle, those influencers are getting paid to use it (it's their job) through brand partners, undeclared ads, gifted items etc.

Not one of the people who feel the need to post hundreds of photos of their travels and what they are eating every hour of the day for validation so I could give up social media pretty easily. I only ever use facebook to stay in touch with friends and my profile is basically 90% shitposting.
