yes, no one in america thinks of southern europeans as non-white but if you look a tiny bit ambiguous (aka mediterranean) people will sometimes ask where you're from

I mean they probably think that if you take a group of 100 English and 100 Lithuanians, you can guess most of them correctly. Not true.

Except for Swedish he is fully NW European.
