Generation one-liner

I noticed my generation and especially the younger ones communicate with short, simple statements. It's almost like they're depressed chronically.
I'm always pouring myself out and speaking with passion and often times get short replies like "yeah me too". Anyone noticed this too? High energy people have been replaced with iZombie iPhone freaks who are chronically sad, lack any depth & generally have no life in them. Anyone noticed this also or am I alone here?

People are more fixated on outward subjects like beauty, physical health, status rather than depth and intelligence.
That’s just how it is now but there are still others out there like you.
