No, its not.they are basically an Alpine variety. Baskid is basically a Dinaric with Atlanto Med influences- so technically without the characteristic high headness.

The only reason why they've become indistinguishable with Spaniards is because loads of non-Basques rapidly moved to the Basque Country during the Franco regime and after several generations call themselves Basques today. But the actual Basques with Basque surnames who speak the Basque language definitely don't identify as Spanish nor do they look like Spanish. Know your own country better.

The Basques are indistinguishable from any other peninsular spaniard, either as a group or separately. Apart from that, everyone can think what they want.
