I have Costa in my name, which is in the 6th place.

My family also has Pinto, Pereira, Silva, Souza (with Z, not S), Moraes...

And, like I commented before, my maternal greatgrandma's side of the family has a Portuguese surname that I have never seen in another family: Reimão.

I have a question: in Brazil, the surname Silva is perceived as low class, having no status, bem povão (but people here don't put their brains to work, this surnames, being the most common in Portugal and most Brazilians having Tuga ancestry, will obviously be super spread in the working classes), does the same happen in Portugal?

Apparently disctant, migtated to Spain probably from Tras Os Montes.
Indeed in some calcs I score some Galician which could be probably Portugueses or at least part of it.

It is not seen as lower class in here, it is just the most common name so there's nothing really that "exclusive" about it. Like most Portuguese surnames it has a noble origin but that does not mean much nowadays. Portugal does not have a society as hierarchical as Brazil, so things cannot be seen in the same light. Our previous president had the surname Silva, Aníbal António Cavaco Silva.

Pacheco is a well spread surname in Spain but its origin is Portuguese. Afaik it entered into Spain from an exiled Portuguese noble house after the battle of Aljubarrota because they supports Castilians.

In Spain they became a super strong noble house, controlled the very important Marquesado de Villena (current region of Murcia and part of Castilla La Mancha).

Another surname which exist in both countries is Machado.
    And Araujo is another case.
