Default Just ordered Nebula Full Genome sequencing

Ordered more for personal medical research and their weekly reports and dna browser feature where you have access to countless of medical studies. But since they test my entire y and X chromosome would I be able to get my Y-DNA (E-V13) subclade or will I still need to get a separate test for that?

I sure hope that you did your homework before ordering. It basically takes a lot of time to decipher everything that they are giving you.

I mean they have great reviews. They are affordable compared to a lot of other wg testing. Your information is stored on a blockchain. They have weekly report updates as new research comes out. I really like their platform overall from what I read about it.

I think I’ll be able to get my subclade

    “ Deep Genetic Ancestry
    (coming in Q4 2020)
Whole Genome Sequencing DNA testing decodes your entire Y chromosome (Y-DNA) and your mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA).

Unlike other ancestry tests, we identify all genetic markers to fully reveal your genetic makeup and help you discover your family history. We provide a detailed ancestry breakdown based on autosomal DNA. In addition, in partnership with FamilyTreeDNA, we give you access to the world’s largest Y-DNA and mtDNA databases. This enables you to trace your maternal and paternal lines, explore ancestral migration patterns, find relatives through DNA matching, and build your family tree by discovering new family connections. Power your genetic genealogical research with personal genome sequencing!”

Nebula is a great choice, I've done DanteLabs early this year during a discount for 150$.

When you have your Nebula RAW data you can upload your data to Yfull and it will give you your terminal haplogroup, you could also map it first align it through YSEQ (costs 25$). Uploading your raw data to Yfull is of course the best option, nebula will also provide you your mtDNA and you can also upload that to Yfull tree.
