Here's a traveller walking across some of the popular streets in Turkey's heart, Istanbul. You can see the people, their phenotypes, and environment, people dressing as they want and couples walking holding hands just fine. Turkey is not like what many people imagine it to be.

i stayed at a hotel on that Istiklal street at some point. There are some cute little trams passing by

Great city, been there twice, it’s almost surreal when you see some of the places for the first time
Would have liked to live there in the 19th century as well
